Scholarships and Financial Aid
Let's face it, treatment is expensive.
Providing state-of-the-art specialized care in a clinically rich environment requires an enormous amount of resources. Unlike treatment for drug and alcohol conditions, insurance generally does not cover the cost of care leaving individuals struggling with how to pay for services. We understand. It is for these reasons and more that reSTART partners with academic researchers around the country in an effort to contribute to the research necessary to ensure inclusion of Internet gaming disorder (IGD) in the APA's diagnostic manual as a coverable expense. In addition, members of our team speak at numerous conferences, conventions, and media engagements in order to increase understanding and acceptance of IGD world-wide. Although this doesn't help reduce the cost of care for those currently coping with problematic use issues, rest assured that reSTART is continuously seeking ways to provide services to those in need.

reSTART Life | Need based scholarship
Open to adolescents ages 13-17, and young adults 18-30. Awarded annually.
Need-based scholarship process
- Step 1: Create an account in reSTART's online application portal.
- Step 2: Complete the scholarship application in the portal.
- Step 3: Once the reSTART application has been approved, compete the SSS by NAIS. reSTART partner's with School and student services by NAIS to provide us with an estimate of the amount families can contribute to treatment expenses.
- Step 4: Check in with reSTART to determine if scholarship has been awarded.
